The battle cry for assembly elections has started in Jharkhand. Voting is to be held in two phases for 81 assembly seats of Jharkhand. Voting will be held on 13th and 20th November. The results will be declared on 23 November. The process of nomination of candidates for the first and second phase has also started. Meanwhile, in this year’s assembly elections, a candidate has dared to stand, who has been struggling for years to make his place in the mainstream of the society. The name of this candidate is Nagma Rani. Nagma is a third gender.
Nagma was born on 15 August 1984 in Phulwarisharif, Patna, the capital of Bihar. With tears in her eyes, wrinkles on her face and remembering her past, Nagma Rani said that we are 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Instead of supporting her in her childhood, just because she was a eunuch, the family shunned her, but destiny had something else in store. A woman named Sangeeta Nag Kinnar adopted orphan Nagma Rani. Sangeeta Nag Kinnar became Nagma’s guru and taught her.
Graduated with History Honors
Nagma Rani avoided the people of the society and studied till graduation from the Faculty of Arts. That too from History Honours. Due to being a eunuch, she was always scolded by the society, but in the happiness of the society, Nagma kept showering blessings to some people by singing and playing drums on the occasion of birth of children in some house and on the occasion of marriage in some house. The money of Neg (Sagun) received in return was spent on the marriage of some poor man’s daughter and on the education of some poor man.

Nagma Rani told that her wish was to become a police officer and stop the atrocities against women and the poor in the society, but destiny had something else in store. Nagma Rani, who was rebuked by the society for being a eunuch, has now taken up the task of reforming the society. Nagma Rani filed her nomination as an independent candidate from Hatia Assembly seat of Jharkhand, and she is seeking their love, blessings and support from the people of Hatia.
What is the purpose of Nagma Rani?
Nagma Rani said that I am a eunuch, I will beg from anyone with open arms, I will fill my stomach, but my aim is to feed the people of the assembly constituency and Jharkhand, to provide them employment, to make girls self-reliant, free from fear. It is my aim that the people of the assembly can live. It will be known on November 23 whether there is victory or defeat in the elections, but the courage shown by transgender candidate Nagma Rani. In such a situation, it can be said that there are thousands of transgenders who are being cursed by the society. This is a big victory in the eyes of all of them.
