SP leader Abu Azmi may get into trouble for saying 'will not feed milk to her child', hence the matter has reached the Election Commission

New Delhi : Former Bharatiya Janata Party MP Kriti Somaiya on Wednesday wrote to Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar demanding action against Samajwadi Party Maharashtra chief Abu Azmi for allegedly using inflammatory speech during his recent election campaign.

Former Bharatiya Janata Party MP Kriti Somaiya has alleged in her letter that Azmi was appealing to the Muslim community to vote on “religious grounds” and that he was trying to take advantage of the fanaticism among Muslim voters before the elections. .

He referred to the speech given by Azmi in which SP leader Abu Azmi had said that when the party has eight of our MLAs in Maharashtra, no mother will “feed her child” to commit atrocities against Muslims. Abu Azmi said,…“At present we have two MLAs. We need at least six to eight MLAs, and the day we get eight MLAs, no one's mother will feed him milk so that he can commit atrocities against Muslims. This is my promise.. I can give my life… to protect this community, but I will not kneel before anyone. ,

Somaiya appealed to the Election Commission to take appropriate action against the SP leader. Now the Commission can investigate the matter and take action.

Earlier, Samajwadi Party had demanded 12 seats from Maha Vikas Aghadi as part of the alliance for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections. Azmi said his post on Twitter was not meant to express outrage, but to remind the parties that time was running out.

While talking to the media, Azmi said, “At present, only Congress, NCP-SCP and Shiv Sena (UBT) are holding meetings. Meetings with other smaller parties are still pending. I was reminding them through my tweet that it was too late. I had heard that Congress was also going to announce something, so I had asked them to take us into confidence. There is no resentment in this. I just wanted to remind that relations between Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav are also good.”
