New Delhi. Many major decisions were taken in the Union Cabinet meeting held on Thursday. Many decisions have also been taken to deal with crowding in trains during festivals. Union Railway and Information Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave information about the cabinet meeting. He said, to deal with the crowd during festivals, Railways will run about seven thousand special trains during Diwali and Chhath. The special train will provide great relief to the passengers and passengers will be able to reach their destination easily.

Along with this, a railway line for Amravati was approved in the cabinet meeting under the rail project. For this, a new 3.2 km long railway bridge will be constructed on the Krishna river. It will connect Amravati to Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Nagpur.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, a major project of doubling of Narkatiaganj – Raxaul – Sitamarhi – Darbhanga and Sitamarhi – Muzaffarpur railway line has been approved today to provide railway infrastructure to North Bihar and strategic connectivity to the North Eastern States. . Doubling of 256 km railway line at a cost of Rs 4553 crore will benefit Uttar Pradesh and North Bihar.
