Incidents of bomb threats against airplanes have increased in the last few days.
New Delhi. threat to bomb 85 planes: Bomb threats continue on passenger planes in the country. Now today 85 planes have received bomb threats. This includes 20 aircraft of Air India, 20 of Indigo, 20 of Vistara and 25 of Akasa Air. In the last few days, hundreds of planes have received bomb threats, resulting in a loss of more than Rs 200 crore. Meanwhile, these incidents have put the government on alert mode.
According to the information received, the police have earlier registered eight separate FIRs in eight days after receiving a threat to bomb more than 90 domestic and international flights (threat to bomb 85 planes). Now the planes which have received threats include Akasa, Air India, Indigo and Vistara. These flights operate from Delhi to various domestic and international destinations. Police say that investigation into these cases is ongoing.
