Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy reveals they were going to get married

A week after the incident, Kate Cassidy shared an emotional message about his passing on social media, detailing her wedding plans. On Wednesday, the social media influencer posted several photos on Instagram, along with an emotional letter dedicated to her late boyfriend.

Cassidy began her message to Penn this way: “I don't know where to start. My heart is broken in a way that words can't explain. I wish you could see what a huge impact you've made on the world. Even though everything seems very bad right now, you have brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone – millions of fans, your family, friends and especially me.” She added, “You are so loved,” and expressed that she would love Penn “for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me wherever I go.”

She also shared a note Penn had written for her, recalling how they sat outside one evening, imagining their future. “I have kept your note, even though you told me not to see it,” she wrote. The note read, “Kate and I will be married/engaged within a year and will be together forever 444.” She continued, “Liam, I know we'll always be together, but not in the way we planned. You'll always be with me. I've got a guardian angel.”
