Out of the 77 applications received by the District Magistrate for allotment of fish pond lease in Tehsil Aurai recently in the presence of the fishermen community of Tehsil Aurai, the District Magistrate gave approval for fish pond lease to 18 applicants and after examining the remaining applicants also sent the lease to Deputy District Magistrate Barkha Singh for approval. Was directed. The District Magistrate directed Chief Fisheries Inspector Pramod Adarsh ​​to conduct an on-site inspection of the files of all the applicants received along with the revenue team and ensure that pond leases are given to the underprivileged on priority as per the government order.

District Magistrate Vishal Singh was informed about the public welfare schemes for the fishing community present that KCC facility on pond lease allotment, accident insurance of Rs 5 lakh, subsidy on fish seed, subsidy on removal and cleaning of water hyacinth in the pond etc. were provided. She goes. Among the fishermen community, those who have not been allotted fish pond lease will also get the benefit of fishermen accident insurance. For that, they should download the app and register, or contact the Fisheries Department and get online registration done.

It was told by the people of the fishing community that there is encroachment on some fishing ponds, they pay the full rent but only a part of the pond is able to be used for fishing. On which the District Magistrate expressed strong displeasure and directed all the Sub-District Magistrates and Tehsildars of the district to run a campaign and ensure that the ponds are completely free from encroachment. On the complaint by Vashisht Kumar of Bairakhas about encroachment on 03 bigha of 6 bigha pond, fencing on all sides of Pipargaon pond, encroachment on ponds like Umarhaan etc., the District Magistrate stressed on getting the encroachment freed soon.

A member of the fishing community complained to the District Magistrate about Tehsil Aurai Administration not measuring the 64 bigha pond and not allowing fishing by the village's dominant people. The District Magistrate directed all the accountants to check the area of ​​the pond in Khatauni and get the pond freed from encroachment by getting it inaugurated etc. All the Sub District Magistrates should submit and check the documents before the auction. At the time of pond allotment, presence of representative of the fishermen community should also be ensured.

After setting up the camp in Laxmanagaon, the four applicants received will be scrutinized as per the rules and the applicants will be selected on priority. Make sure that there is currently no agricultural work or encroachment on the fish pond.

Chief Fisheries Inspector Pramod Adarsh ​​has received the money for 11 out of 40 applicants for fishery subsidy last year. The remaining funds will also be released from the government soon. Tehsildar Aurai Sunil Kumar, Fisheries Inspector Amit Singh, District Information Officer Dr. Pankaj Kumar, officials and members of the fisheries community, Tehsil Aurai Kanungo and accountant etc. were present in the meeting.
