Terrorist attack near LOC, 2 soldiers martyred, 2 laborers also died
New Delhi. Army vehicle was once again targeted by terrorists near LOC in Jammu and Kashmir. Two soldiers were martyred in this attack, while two laborers working for the army also died. Apart from this, two soldiers have been seriously injured. The incident took place at Botapathar near Nagin Post area of Gulmarg, where an army vehicle was attacked by terrorists.
Police confirmed, waiting for army's response
Police have confirmed the incident, although an official statement from the Army is awaited. According to sources, this attack could be the result of an infiltration attempt. The increasing attacks on LOC and infiltration attempts by terrorists are becoming a big challenge for the army.

Mehbooba Mufti expressed grief
Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti has expressed deep grief over this attack. He tweeted, “Shocked by the terrorist attack on an army convoy in Baramulla, in which a civilian died. I strongly condemn this incident and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured soldiers.”
Terrorist attacks have happened before too
This attack happened when just a few hours ago terrorists had fired on a laborer in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir. The injured laborer has been identified as Pritam from Uttar Pradesh, who is undergoing treatment.

Three days before this, terrorists had attacked the tunnel construction site of Ganderbal, in which 6 laborers and a doctor lost their lives. These incidents show that the activities of terrorists are continuously increasing in Jammu and Kashmir, which is a serious threat to the peace and security of the region.
