KC Venugopal consulted Siddaramaiah on land misappropriation case

Latest News :- Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal consulted Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah regarding the land misappropriation issue. Mysuru Municipal Development Corporation allotted a replacement land to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to acquire the land owned by his wife Parvati. A case of land misappropriation was filed against Siddaramaiah as the value of the land given in return was many times more than the value of the land acquired. The Enforcement Directorate and Lokayukta Police are investigating the matter.

In this matter, Mysore Municipal Development Corporation Chairman Mari Gowda has resigned from his post. He said, 'I have resigned on the instructions of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. No other pressure was given to me. After this, opposition parties BJP and Mazda demanded that Siddaramaiah should also resign from his post. Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal came to Bengaluru from Delhi. He met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at his residence and discussed for about an hour.
