The Bengal Warriorz edged past UP Yoddhas in a thrilling 32-29 contest, while the Haryana Steelers claimed a dominant 37-25 victory over the Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Bengal Warriorz Clinch a Nail-Biter Against UP Yoddhas

The Bengal Warriorz put on a well-rounded performance to defeat the UP Yoddhas 32-29 in a match that went down to the wire.

Star raider Maninder Singh was instrumental, alongside solid contributions from Sushil Kambrekar and Nitin Dhankhar.

The UP Yoddhas, led by Bharat’s 13-point haul, fought valiantly but came up just short.

Maninder Singh started off with a bang, helping Bengal establish an early lead, but the Yoddhas fought back to level the score at 8-8 midway through the first half.

Despite a closely contested game, the Bengal Warriorz held a slim 12-11 advantage at halftime, with Bharat keeping the Yoddhas in contention with 5 points.

The second half saw both teams trading points, with neither side able to pull away.

However, Nitin Dhankhar’s crucial all-out on the Yoddhas gave Bengal the edge. Strong defensive work from Fazel Atrachali further strengthened their position.

While Bharat and Bhavani Rajput attempted to spark a late Yoddhas comeback, the Bengal Warriorz held firm to notch their first win of the season.

Haryana Steelers Dominate Jaipur Pink Panthers

In the other encounter, the Haryana Steelers registered a convincing 37-25 win over the Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Led by standout performances from Vinay, Naveen, and Shivam Patare, the Steelers quickly took control of the game and never looked back.

Naveen and Vinay started strong, building an early lead for the Steelers.

By the midway point of the first half, Haryana had established a 3-point cushion, with Vinay playing a pivotal role. His tally of 9 points in the first half helped Haryana go into the break leading 20-11.

Jaipur Pink Panthers struggled to find answers in the second half, with Abhijeet Malik leading their attack but unable to break through Haryana’s defense.

Vinay completed his Super 10, and with support from Naveen and a rock-solid defense, the Steelers maintained their dominance throughout the match.

As the game wound down, the Haryana Steelers comfortably sealed their first win of the season.

Both the Bengal Warriorz and Haryana Steelers earned their maiden victories of the season, each showcasing a blend of skill and resilience.

While the Bengal Warriorz relied on a late surge to overcome the UP Yoddhas, the Haryana Steelers cruised to a comfortable win, giving their fans plenty to cheer about.
