Connection of Haryana and Pune in Baba Siddiqui murder case, Mumbai Crime Branch arrested 5 accused

Mumbai Crime Branch has got a big success in the murder case of former Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddiqui. Here the crime branch has arrested five more accused. Along with this, the Crime Branch has so far arrested a total of 14 accused in this murder case, which includes two shooters.

In this case, the Crime Branch has arrested Amit Hisamsingh Kumar from Haryana. Amit Kumar had allegedly given shelter to absconding accused Zeeshan Akhtar. It was Zeeshan who had arranged for the shooters.

A police officer said that Rupesh Rajendra Mohol (22), Karan Rahul Salve (19) and Shivam Arvind Kohar (20) were arrested from Pune. All three were said to be close to Shubham Lonkar. It was Shubham who had taken the responsibility of killing Baba Siddiqui on behalf of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He is believed to have played a major role in this murder. Currently he is absconding. Gautam, considered the main shooter of this murder, is absconding. Mumbai Police has issued a look out circular against absconding accused Shubham Lonkar, Shivkumar Gautam and Zeeshan Akhtar.

It is noteworthy that former minister and senior NCP (Ajit Pawar) leader Baba Siddiqui was murdered in Mumbai on the night of 12 October, allegedly by shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The 66-year-old leader was shot outside the Bandra office of his son Zeeshan Siddiqui. Police arrested two shooters shortly after the incident. The arrested accused revealed during interrogation that they belong to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Till now, a total of 14 accused have been arrested by Mumbai Crime Branch in this murder case, the search for others is going on.
