The woman accused Sahil of often returning home after drinking alcohol and harassing her and her four children. Before the murder, he asked Sahil to leave the house, but he refused. After this, the woman angrily attacked Sahil, beat him with a stone and a hammer, and then stabbed him with a screwdriver. 8 hours after the incident, the accused woman herself reached the police station and confessed to her crime. The accused woman told the police that she wanted to live with someone else, for which Sahil, a 30-year-old plumber, was not ready. The woman left her husband and started living with Sahil since 2018, when her husband died.

The woman who committed murder in front of her children had gone to her village Khagaria in Bihar a month ago and returned on Sunday. She wanted to live with another person, so she asked Sahil to drop her home. All four children and the woman were at home on Tuesday afternoon. Once again, the woman asked Sahil to leave the house. During this time, she first attacked him with a screwdriver, then injured him by hitting him with a hammer and stick, then covered the entire body with a screwdriver, and then sat in the house with the dead body.

The woman stayed in the house with the dead body for about 8 hours, then reached the police station herself at around 10 pm and informed about the murder. The children's grandparents have been informed about the incident, the police officer said.
