Doctors found that taking vitamin pills daily (other than vitamin D3) put patients at higher risk of chronic diseases like heart disease or cancer. If you keep consuming pulses and green vegetables regularly, there will be no need to take vitamin supplements. Doctors give supplements in case of pregnancy and menopause. Even in case of fatigue or weakness, you can take supplements as per doctor's advice. But taking supplements as per your wish can be wrong.
