In such a situation, news has come that Aam Aadmi Party has decided not to contest the upcoming Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections.

Regarding this, a source among Aam Aadmi Party officials told the newspaper 'Hindu Tamil Vectic', “In Haryana it was understood that if we trust too much, what will happen to us. Our party does not have much support in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. So there is no point in competing for the sake of vanity. “Instead, we have decided to support the Bharat Alliance parties in these two states, of which we are a part.” It is being told that Aam Aadmi Party has taken this decision to focus completely on the Delhi Assembly elections to be held early next year.
