Nvidia AI Summit: Jensen Huang announces Hindi language AI Model in India, doubles its presence in India
Nvidia AI Summit : World leading American chip company NVIDIA on Thursday announced several partnerships with major Indian companies and launched Hindi language models. Because the American chip company is trying to expand business in one of the world's largest technology markets. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang spoke about the company's technology and efforts in India at the AI Summit in Mumbai. – Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and India's richest man, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani attended the event.

The company said Nvidia is introducing its new mini language model, called nvidia-nemotron-4-mini-hindi-4b, with 4 billion parameters, which the firm can use to build its own Can help in developing AI models.
Among the partnerships announced on the occasion was an agreement between Reliance and Nvidia to build AI infrastructure in India. Huang said that Nvidia is working with several companies including Yotta and Tata Communications. Computing infrastructure will also be created. By the end of the year, India will have “20 times more computing capacity” than a year ago, Huang said, referring to the country's computing power.
Indian IT services and consulting company Tech Mahindra is the first company to develop a custom AI model called Indus 2.0 focused on Hindi and its dozens of dialects using Nvidia's offering. It says only one-tenth of the population of 1.4 billion speaks English in India, where the Constitution recognizes 22 languages.
