Mahayuti alliance will return to power with a strong majority: Eknath Shinde

Mumbai. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday expressed confidence that the Mahayuti Alliance will return to power with a strong majority on the basis of the development work done during his tenure. Speaking to the media, Shinde said that his party Shiv Sena will soon release the second list of candidates.

Shiv Sena had released the first list of 45 candidates earlier this week. Chief Minister Shinde will contest from Kopri-Panchpakhari seat of Chief Minister Shinde Thane. Shinde said we will come back to power with a resounding majority on the basis of our development work and welfare initiatives. He also said that there are no differences among Mahayuti's allies regarding seat-sharing and all discussions are being held with consent. Apart from Shinde's Shiv Sena, the grand alliance also includes the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

When Shinde was asked whether his party would do better than rival Shiv Sena (UBT) in the elections, he said that the fight between the bow and arrow (his party's symbol) and the burning torch (Shiv Sena-UBT's symbol) will be decided in the Lok Sabha elections. are done. The strike rate of the bow and arrow was 47 percent, while that of the burning torch was 40 percent.

He said that his government will win on the basis of its performance. Shinde said, our sisters will support their brothers and will not allow the opposition to come to power, which wants to end the Girl Child Scheme. Voting for the state's 288-seat assembly will be held in a single phase on November 20. Counting of votes will be done three days later.
