India And China News In Hindi: India, China troops withdraw in Depsang, Demchok Latest News: Indian and Chinese military forces are on track to finalize the disengagement process in Depsang and Demchok areas of Ladakh by the end of this month, with troops disengagement before April 2020 Will return to his position, Army sources confirmed today.

Both countries have agreed to remove all temporary structures, such as tents and sheds, while ground commanders will meet regularly to maintain clear communication and manage the withdrawal process.

The withdrawal comes after a significant patrolling agreement between India and China, which is a promising step towards reducing the long-standing tension along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Each side will maintain its surveillance capabilities in the Depsang and Demchok sectors and keep the other side informed while patrolling to prevent misunderstandings or unexpected confrontations.

The backdrop of these tensions includes several standoffs in 2020, notably the clash at Pangong Lake in May and the deadly Galwan Valley clash in June, which resulted in the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers. Subsequently, both countries significantly increased their military presence along the LAC, with Delhi airdropping around 70,000 troops, deploying tanks and deploying combat aircraft in eastern Ladakh.

The disengagement plan now aims to reduce military buildup along the disputed border, and promote stability in one of the most sensitive areas between the two countries.
