Pandya wrote in a story on his official Instagram handle that he is going to make some big announcement and will give information about it soon. He wrote, “I am going to make some big announcement soon. Will let you all know sometime.”

Notably, the last date for the ten teams to declare their retention for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is October 31. Hence, Pandya's post has shocked his fans, who were wondering if his announcement was related to the India Premier League (IPL).

Hardik was included in the Mumbai Indians (MI) squad ahead of last season in a Rs 15 crore+ all-cash deal. Not only this, he replaced the franchise's most successful captain Rohit Sharma in the leadership setup, for which he faced a lot of criticism from former fans throughout IPL 2024.
