Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of THE unveiled their official trailer on Friday. Kiran Abbavaram headlines the upcoming thriller.
In THEKiran Abbavaram plays a simple-minded postman who is loved and admired by everyone in his village. However, tables turn on him when he is summoned by a mysterious man, compelling him to embark on a mission that could be fatal for everyone around. How the postman navigates the moral conundrum and decides to save his village from destruction forms the crux of the story here.
Nayan Sarika, who has earlier played pivotal roles in films like Gam Gam Ganesha and Aayplays the female lead in THE. Tanvi Raam, Ajay, and Saranya Pradeep too play significant roles in the film. THE is written and directed by Sujith-Sandeep, who are making their debut with the film. Sam CS is the music director. The cinematography is co-helmed by Viswas Daniel and Sateesh Reddy Masam. Sree Varaprasad is the editor. Set in the 1970s and 80s, the film has production design by Sudheer Macharla and costume design by Anusha Punjla.
Produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy, THE is slated to release on October 31, clashing with Dulquer Salmaan starrer Lucky Baskhar.
