There will be a tight fight on Worli seat of Maharashtra; CM Shinde fielded Milind Deora in front of Aditya Thackeray.

Maharashtra Assembly Elections: There is going to be a tough competition between the candidates on many seats in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. In which now Worli seat was also included. Actually, Aditya Thackeray, son of Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, is in the fray for Worli seat. Against whom the Shiv Sena faction led by CM Eknath Shinde has given ticket to Milind Deora from this seat.

The Shiv Sena faction led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced the fielding of Milind Deora from Worli, a day after Aditya Thackeray filed his nomination. Deora is currently a Rajya Sabha member and has been a three-time MP from South Mumbai. Deora, who left the Congress, was given the responsibility of Worli constituency during the Lok Sabha elections 2024 and despite it being Aditya's constituency, Shiv Sena (UBT) got a lead of just 6,500 votes.

Now there will be a direct contest between the two leaders in Maharashtra Assembly Elections also. At the same time, MNS's Sandeep Deshpande has been declared its candidate from Worli. Let us tell you that voting will be held for 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra on 20th November. The election results will be declared on November 23. In the last assembly elections, BJP had got 105 seats, Shiv Sena 56, NCP 54 and Congress 44.
