The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for anyone providing information about Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Anmol Bishnoi, popularly known as 'Bhanu', had fled India on a fake passport and was seen in Kenya last year and Canada this year.

He is wanted for his involvement in the murder of Punjab singer Sidhu Moosewala in 2022. There are 18 cases registered against Anmol Bishnoi.

Earlier, Mumbai Police had issued a lookout circular against Khan in connection with the firing outside his residence on April 14, after he claimed responsibility for the incident on social media.

Mumbai Police said Anmol Bishnoi was also in touch with the shooters who killed NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui outside his son's office on October 12.

The 66-year-old NCP leader was shot dead by three men while he was bursting crackers on the occasion of Dussehra. Police said Anmol Bishnoi was in direct contact with the accused and used social media application Snapchat to stay in touch with the accused while he was working from Canada and the US.

He had also shared the picture of Baba Siddiqui's son Zeeshan Siddiqui with the accused through the application. Through a Facebook post, a member of the Bishnoi gang claimed that they targeted Siddiqui because of his close ties with actor Salman Khan and his alleged links with underworld figures like Dawood Ibrahim.

So far, the police have arrested 10 people in connection with the murder of Baba Siddiqui, including two shooters and an arms supplier.
