Actor Arjun Das made an official announcement on Friday that he is a part of the star cast of Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Good Bad Uglydirected by Adhik Ravichandran.
In a note, reminiscing the memories of working at the back end of Ajith’s films, Arjun Das said that he joined the PR team D’One of Suresh Chandra (Ajith’s PRO) when he came to Chennai with the dream of acting in films. He recalled how he got to work close with Ajith on the marketing and promotional fronts. He went on to add he was the one who uploaded the actor’s Veeram (2014) teaser online.
Remarking that life has come a full circle, Arjun adds that Ajith had called him after Master to say they will soon work together. Arjun ended the note saying, “Ajith sir, this one’s for you, and because of you.” He also thanked the production house of Ajith’s 63rd film, Mythri Movie Makers, for the opportunity.
Arjun Das, who was last seen in Santhakumar’s Rasavathialso has Once More with Aditi Shankar, helmed by debutant Vignesh Srikanth.
Good Bad Ugly began production in Hyderabad early this year and has now moved to Spain.
Good Bad Ugly will see Trisha reunite with Ajith Kumar after Vidaamuyarchi. They were last seen together in the 2015 Gautham Vasudev Menon film Yennai Arindhaal. Prior to that, they were seen together in many films like Mankatha (2011), Kireedam (2007), and Ji (2005). The film also stars Prasanna in a prominent role.
The technical crew of Good Bad Ugly comprises music composer Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Abinandan Ramanujam, editor Vijay Velukutty, and action choreographer Supreme Sundar.
Good Bad Ugly is scheduled to hit screens on Pongal 2025. Ajith’s previous film, the H Vinoth action drama Thunivualso hit screens on Pongal 2023.
