To make Corn Poha you will need

  • Corn – 1 cup
  • Onion – 1 finely chopped
  • Tomato – 1 chopped
  • Garlic paste – half teaspoon
  • Ginger paste – half teaspoon
  • Poha – 2 cups
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Coriander – finely chopped
  • Turmeric powder – half teaspoon
  • Green chilli – 2 finely chopped
  • Mustard – half teaspoon
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves- 5-10

Corn Poha Recipe

  • Clean Poha i.e. Chirwa with water. Soak it in water for 15 minutes. Then filter the water through a filter.
  • Put it in a vessel and boil for some time. Chop all the vegetables finely.
  • Prepare a paste by mixing ginger and garlic in a mixer.
  • Place the pan on the gas stove. Heat one spoon oil in it.
  • Add mustard seeds and curry leaves in it. After a few seconds, add onion and green chillies and fry lightly.
  • Now add ginger and garlic paste and fry until it turns golden.
  • Add all the spices like red chilli and turmeric powder, salt as per taste and mix. After a minute or two, add tomatoes and fry.
  • When tomatoes melt, add boiled corn. After frying for one to two minutes, add poha to it. stir well.
  • Add lemon juice and stir and turn off the gas after a minute.
  • Take it out in a bowl. Garnish with green coriander leaves. Healthy, tasty and nutritious corn poha is ready. You can also enjoy eating it by adding tomato chutney to it.
