This happened for the first time in the history of Pakistan's Test cricket, the fast bowlers did not bowl a single ball.

Delhi: Pakistan cricket team played the first match of its test history against India in 1952 and has played 461 test matches till now. This is the first time that Pakistan did not bowl a single ball by the fast bowlers in a Test match and still won. This incident happened after 72 years.

Actually, in the third test match played against England in Rawalpindi, Pakistan won by 9 wickets. No fast bowler from Pakistan bowled in this match, yet the team was successful in winning the match.

The most wickets taken by spin bowlers in a single series in Pakistan are as follows:

  • 73 wickets – Pakistan vs England, 2024/25
  • 71 wickets – Pakistan vs New Zealand, 1969/70
  • 68 wickets – Pakistan vs England, 2022/23
  • 60 wickets – Pakistan vs England, 1987/88

In the Rawalpindi Test, Sajid Khan and Noman Ali together took 19 wickets, while Saim Ayyub got one wicket. In the second and third test matches, Sajid and Noman took a total of 39 wickets.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan won the match by scoring 36 runs in 3.1 overs. This is Pakistan's first win in a Test series at home since 2021.
