A passenger has been arrested at Jaipur Airport on charges of gold smuggling. It has been told by the officials that the accused had come from Abu Dhabi and he had brought it hidden in his rectum. Three pieces were found with the accused.

It has been informed that the gold recovered from the accused is worth Rs 90 lakh. Customs officials have informed that the Itihasa Airways flight reached Jaipur airport at around 8:00 am on Wednesday. The accused was stopped on force grounds and he was interrogated to which he could not give satisfactory answers.
Let us tell you that when the X-ray of the accused was done, it was found that there was gold inside his body. Three capsules wrapped in plastic were recovered from his rectum. Even before this, the accused have tried to smuggle gold several times. The security officers present at the airport immediately arrest the accused.
