7000 special trains for Diwali, Saath Puja – LIVE HINDI KHABAR

Latest News :- Indian Railways is going to run 7000 special trains across the country on the occasion of Diwali and Sath Puja. In this regard, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told reporters in Delhi yesterday that this year Indian Railways is going to run 7,000 special trains to allow additional 2 lakh people to travel on the occasion of Diwali and Sath Puja.

Officials said, “Last year, 4,500 special trains were run on the occasion of Diwali and seven pujas. In view of the increasing number of passengers, the Railway Ministry has decided to increase the number of special trains this year. Northern Railway said it will run around 3,050 number of special trains due to the large number of people traveling in the eastern parts of the country during this period.

Northern Railway operated 1,082 special trains last year. This year it has increased to 3,050. This is an increase of 181 percent. Apart from special trains, Northern Railway also said that it is planning to add more coaches in regular trains.
