Travelers coming from space admitted to hospital, this information came out

Obnews Digital Desk. CAPE CANAVERAL, Oct. 25 (AP) — A NASA astronaut who recently returned from spending nearly eight months on the space station has been hospitalized with an unspecified medical problem, the space agency reported Friday.

The astronauts' stay in space was prolonged due to malfunctions in the Boeing capsule and Hurricane Milton. After departing the International Space Station in midweek, they returned to the SpaceX capsule and parachuted into the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Florida. Shortly after landing, NASA reported that one of the astronauts experienced a “medical problem,” leading the crew to be airlifted to a hospital in Pensacola, Florida, as a precaution.

The space agency said in a release that the astronaut is in stable condition, and is being kept in the hospital as a “precautionary measure.” The other astronauts have returned to Houston. After spending months in a weightless environment, astronauts may take several days or even weeks to adjust to gravity.

The mission of Starline's two astronauts, Indian-origin Sunita Williams and 'test pilot' Butch Wilmore, who went in their place, has increased from eight days to eight months. SpaceX sent two more astronauts four weeks ago. All of them will remain there till February. After months of being overcrowded, the space station now has seven crew members at its normal capacity, including four American and three Russian astronauts.
