After losing around Rs 50 thousand in the online game Ludo, a married woman committed suicide by hanging herself. Before the incident, the woman called her husband and informed him about losing the game and said that she no longer wants to live.
Late in the evening, the deceased's father, Satyendra Kumar Sharma, son of Brahmadutt, resident of Bijnor, filed a complaint against four people from the daughter's in-laws alleging dowry death. According to the police, 25-year-old Pallavi Sharma, who lives in Ward No. 12 Bhauna Colony, near GGIC School, called her husband Anubhav Sharma on Friday afternoon.
She told her husband crying that she had again lost Rs 40 thousand in online Ludo. Even before this she had lost around Rs 10 thousand. She said that she did not want to live anymore, saying this she disconnected the phone.
Soon after this the husband reached home, but by then Pallavi had committed suicide by hanging herself. Kotwal Naresh Chauhan said that the police is investigating the matter.
