Hip-hop producer DJ Clark Kent dies at 58 after three-year battle with colon cancer

New Delhi. Famous hip-hop producer DJ Clark Kent passed away at the age of 58. This news has been confirmed by his family on Instagram. He was suffering from Colon Cancer for the last three years. He has worked with artists such as Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G., and Mariah Carey. His real name is Rodolfo A. Franklin (Rodolfo A. Franklin). He began his career in the late 1980s as a DJ for Brooklyn rapper Dana Dan and on New York City radio.

The family is grateful for everyone's love, support and prayers at this time and asks for privacy to cope with this immense loss.

DJ Clark Kent's contribution to hip-hop

DJ Clark Kent's first big hit was a 1989 remix of R&B group Troupe's Spread Your Wings. He became famous for his work on Junior Mafia's 1995 album Conspiracy, producing tracks such as “I Need You Tonight” and “Player's Anthem”, which featured Lil' Kim. His contributions also extended to Jay-Z's debut album Reasonable Doubt in 1996, where he produced songs such as Brooklyn's Finest, Coming of Age and Cashmere Thoughts.
