Jitu Patwari’s team announced after 10 months in Madhya Pradesh, 17 vice-presidents; space for 177 people – Read

In Madhya Pradesh, Congress President Jitu Patwari has announced the executive of the State Congress Committee after about 10 months. 177 people have been given place in Jitu Patwari’s team. In this, 17 people have been appointed as Vice President, 71 people as General Secretary, 16 people as members, 33 people as permanent invitees and 40 people as special invitees.

Former CM Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh have been included as executive members in the executive of Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee. The 16 members include Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, former Union Minister Kantilal Bhuria, former Union Minister Arun Yadav, Govind Singh, Ajay Singh, Vivek Tankha, Meenakshi Natarajan, Kamleshwar Patel, Omkar Markam, Satyanarayan Patel, Neelanshu Chaturvedi, Kunal Chaudhary, Manoj Chauhan and Bhupendra Maravi are included.

Digvijay Singh’s son’s name among vice presidents

Jaivardhan, son of former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and powerful leader Digvijay Singh, has also got a place in Jitu Patwari’s team. He has been made the vice president. Jayavardhan is currently an MLA. Two women have also been given place among the 17 vice-presidents.

The Congress Party had appointed Jitu Patwari as the State Congress President on December 16 after the assembly elections were over at the end of last year. At the time of elections, the command of the state Congress was in the hands of former CM Kamal Nath, the assembly elections were fought under his leadership, but after the crushing defeat, the party took a big step and handed over the command of the party in the state to Jitu Patwari.

Executive announcement amid assembly by-elections

There was a continuous demand for declaring an executive in the state. In such a situation, when assembly by-elections are being held on two seats in the state, Jitu Patwari has declared his team. Of the two seats on which by-elections are being held in Madhya Pradesh, the most important is the seat of Budhni. This seat has been the traditional seat of Shivraj Singh Chauhan. BJP has fielded Ramakant Bhargava from this seat. The second is Vijaypur seat, from where BJP has fielded Ramniwas Rawat.
