Heavy traffic in Bengaluru, people left vehicles and traveled on foot

Due to the closure of vehicles for a long time, some passengers returned home on foot. Videos of vehicles standing on roads in rain water have attracted attention on social media. Social media users commented that it was like a scene from a movie. There is a problem of traffic jam in Bengaluru, which is called the technical capital of India. However, it is higher than normal during the rainy season.

Due to this traffic jam, thousands of motor vehicles remained stuck in Bengaluru urban area for about three hours. The passengers inside the vehicle also became unconscious. Some people left their vehicles on the road. Heavy rain at Rupana Agrahara led to traffic jam on the takeaway connecting Tamil Nadu and Bengaluru. As a result, Bengaluru Traffic Police temporarily blocked one side of the flyover. Apart from this, rain water remained stagnant in some parts of the city till Thursday morning.

In such a situation, people stuck in traffic jam shared their ordeal on social media. The state government had advised private companies to allow their employees to work from home.
