Due to this traffic jam, thousands of motor vehicles remained stuck in Bengaluru urban area for about three hours. The passengers inside the vehicle also became unconscious. Some people left their vehicles on the road. Heavy rain at Rupana Agrahara led to traffic jam on the takeaway connecting Tamil Nadu and Bengaluru. As a result, Bengaluru Traffic Police temporarily blocked one side of the flyover. Apart from this, rain water remained stagnant in some parts of the city till Thursday morning.
