Shadow magic of Baba Ramdev's Patanjali again, huge jump of 21 percent in profit

New Delhi Yoga Guru Ramdev Baba's company Patanjali has done wonders this time. Patanjali Foods had recently announced the results for the second quarter of the year 2024-25. On the basis of which it has been found that there has been a huge jump of 21.38 percent in the company's profit in this second quarter. In this quarter, the company has made a profit of about Rs 308.97 crore, which earlier was about Rs 255 crore in the second quarter of the financial year.

After knowing the news of profit, Patanjali Foods has also announced an interim dividend of Rs 8 per share to the shareholders. The date for payment of dividend to shareholders has been fixed as November 4, 2024.

Revenue of Patanjali Foods

Revenue from operations of Patanjali Foods was Rs 8154.19 crore and Ebitda was Rs 493.86 crore. The company has achieved a revenue of about Rs 2303.66 crore from the food and FMCG segment. Patanjali has said that the revenue from operations in the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25 has been around Rs 15,327.25 crore. In this the Ebitda margin was 6.06 percent.

Better performance even in difficult circumstances

While announcing the quarterly results, Patanjali Foods has said that despite the challenging situation in the food and FMCG and edible oil segments, the company's performance in the second quarter has been excellent and there has been a 4.25 percent jump in revenue to Rs 8154 crore. According to Patanjali Foods, after getting permission from the board in this quarter, the acquisition of home and personal care business of PAL has been approved by the Competition Commission of India i.e. CCI on October 8, 2024.

There was a boom in exports

Patanjali Foods has also informed that customer sentiment was also indifferent, the effect of which was seen in the second quarter. Despite this, there has been tremendous progress in consumption in rural areas as compared to urban areas. The company has said that its company's products have so far been exported to 21 countries, due to which the export revenue of the company has also been Rs 34.55 crore.
