After the defeat from New Zealand, all the players including Gautam Gambhir, Rohit-Kohli will have to do this work in action…

New Delhi :- The defeat of the Indian cricket team in the first two tests against New Zealand has shocked the entire Indian fans. The defeat in the series against New Zealand means that the Indian team has faced defeat at home for the first time in 12 years. Earlier in 2012, England had defeated it.

After the results of the first two Tests, the team management has reportedly taken a tough step and made optional training sessions mandatory for everyone. Not only this, it will apply to all the players including Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma.

An optional training session is held for the players before the match. Due to which top batsmen and fast bowlers often skipped that session and limited themselves to only light training. However, this will not happen now because after this defeat, Gautam Gambhir and the management seem to be in a tough mood.

According to a report in Indian Express, the team management has ordered every single player to attend the practice session and they do not have the option to skip it. The report quoted a source as saying, 'The team management has asked the players to be present for practice for two days on October 30 and 31. It is mandatory and no one can skip it.
India may have lost the Test series to New Zealand, but it is still important for the team to win the third Test to be held in Mumbai. Keeping in mind the situation of the World Test Championship, the Indian team cannot afford another mistake. Therefore, India head coach Gautam Gambhir and other members of the team management want every player to participate in all the training sessions.
The Indian team still has 6 matches left in the World Test Championship, out of which it will have to win five matches at any cost. If India does this then it will qualify for the final in the World Test Championship. Five of these matches will be played against Australia in Australia while one match will be played against New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium.
