Make delicious watermelon koftas this summer like this

Health Corner :- Watermelon is a fruit which both children and adults like very much. This is considered a very good fruit especially for summer days. But vegetables throw away its peels. Today we are going to tell you a recipe from those peels which is very tasty. So let us know the simple method of making koftas from watermelon peels.

Material

Watermelon (peeled) medium size

Gram flour 1/2 cup

salt as per taste

Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp

Coriander powder 1/4 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp

Onion 1 medium

Garlic 8-10 cloves

Tomato 1 medium

oil for frying

Method

First of all, peel the upper green peel of the watermelon and remove it. Now wash everything thoroughly and cut it into small pieces. Now put some water in a cooker and also add all the peels and let it whistle for 2 whistles. Now when it cools down, squeeze out all the water and grind it in a grinder to make a paste. Now take out this paste in a bowl and add gram flour, salt, red chilli and coriander powder and mix well. Now place the pan on the gas and heat the oil in it. Now make koftas from this prepared mixture and deep fry them.

After all the koftas are ready, leave 2 tablespoons of oil in the same pan and take out the remaining oil separately. Now add garlic and onion paste in this oil and fry. Now add ground tomato in it also. Also add salt, red chilli, turmeric powder and coriander powder and mix well. Fry the spices on low flame until the oil separates. Now add water as per requirement. When it comes to a boil, add prepared koftas to it. Serve garnished with coriander leaves. Delicious koftas made of watermelon peels are ready. Serve with hot rotis.
