Healthy raagi chakli

This chakli made from ragi and gram flour is very healthy. It does not require much material to make it.

Ingredients to make Ragi Chakli

  • Ragi flour- 1 cup
  • Gram flour – ½ cup
  • Ginger paste – ½ tsp
  • Garlic paste – ½ tsp
    Green chilli paste – ½ tsp
    Salt- as per taste
    Oil- 1 tablespoon

Baked Chakli Recipe

  • Mix ragi flour, gram flour, ginger, garlic paste, green chilli paste and salt in a large bowl.
  • Make a dough by adding a little oil and required amount of water to it. Keep in mind that the dough should neither be too hard nor too loose.
  • Divide the dough into two parts and put the first part in the chakli machine.
  • Roll out the dough and press it. Place the chakli in the preheated oven. Brush oil on it.
  • Let it bake for 15-20 minutes at about 360° temperature.
  • Now take the other half and make chakli using the same process.
  • Your chakli is ready.

Ingredients to make Baked Pizza Puffs

  • Flour- 2 cups
  • Baking powder – ½ tsp
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Oil- 6 tbsp
  • Grated ginger – 1 tsp
  • Sweet corn- 3 tbsp
  • Peas – 2 tbsp
  • Grated carrots – ½ cup
  • Capsicum – ½ cup
  • Chopped Tomato – ½ cup
  • Oregano – 1 tsp
  • Schezwan Sauce- 1 tsp
  • Tomato Sauce- 2 tbsp
  • Frozen cheese – ½ cup

Method of preparation

  • First, to make the dough, add flour, salt, baking powder and two spoons of oil in a bowl. Mix them well and add water little by little and make a stiff dough. Cover it with a cloth and keep it for half an hour.
  • To make the stuffing, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add grated ginger to it and fry it lightly. Now add sweet corn and peas and fry for 1 minute.
  • Add finely chopped carrots, capsicum, tomatoes, salt, oregano, schezwan sauce and tomato sauce to it. Mixing everything, fry the vegetables for 2 minutes.
  • Now mash the dough well and divide it into 6 equal parts and take out one part and keep the rest covered. Roll it out and cut it into equal 6/6 sheets.
  • Cut this sheet into 4 equal square pieces and apply some water on all four corners.
  • Put the stuffing in two parts and cover both with the other part and seal the corners well.
  • Preheat the oven at 200 degree centigrade for 5 minutes. Take out the pizza puffs in a baking tray. Mix cream and water in a bowl, then puff and coat the pizza with a brush. Place the baking tray in the oven and bake for 10 minutes at 200 degrees centigrade. Turn the tray over and place it in the oven and bake for 5 more minutes. Make puffs in the same manner from the remaining dough and stuffing.
