PCB retained Babar Azam in central contract despite poor form, these three star players were out

Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the central contract for the 2024-25 international season. In which 25 male cricketers have been given contracts for 12 months. In this contract, Babar has been kept in Grade A.

Actually, Babar Azam's fans believe that Pakistan Cricket Board is doing injustice to them. Due to poor form, Babar was dropped from the second and third Test played against England. But in the central contract presented by PCB, by keeping Babar Azam in Grade A, it has proved that it is not doing any injustice to Babar.

Five new players joined

Not only this, this time PCB has given place to 5 new players in the central contract. Khurram Shahzad, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Irfan Khan and Usman Khan have been included in the contract for the first time. These five players have been kept in D category.

These players did not get a place

At the same time, star players like Hasan Ali, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Fakhar Zaman have not got a place in the central contract of PCB. These players have not been showing any special performance for some time now. In such a situation, it is believed that PCB has taken him out of the contract for this reason.

Category-B: Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shan Masood

Category-C: Abdullah Shafiq, Abrar Ahmed, Haris Rauf, Noman Ali, Saim Ayub, Sajid Khan, Salman Ali Aga, Saud Shakeel and Shadab Khan.

Category-D: Aamir Jamal, Hasibullah, Kamran Ghulam, Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Irfan Khan, Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Usman Khan.
