Allegation of corruption on village head: Demand for investigation from DM: Memorandum submitted

Not only this, MNREGA money is being sent to the accounts of workers and students going to Delhi and Mumbai.

Raising several issues of corruption, it has been said in the memorandum that money is being sent to the family members of the BDC and the village head without doing any work under MNREGA. At the Gram Panchayat level, money has been misappropriated by installing substandard street lights. Street lights are faulty: On occasion, more than half of the street lights are faulty. A demand has been made that a high level inquiry should be conducted into the payment of development works and MNREGA wages by making fake attendance.
