Set for festive season, Sonam recently donned a gracious orange lehenga set but what caught the eyes was her bodice. It is no ordinary lehenga choli but a lehenga and body ornament exuding elegance in every thread.

Most of Sonam’s looks are styled by her sister and ace fashion stylist Rhea Kapoor. The sister duo brings a sophisticated and opulent version in everything. And this time it is the body ornament. Kapoor shared the mind blowing images on her Instagram and caption it, “Sinah is an extension of material exploration by Vernacular Modern (a Bangalore Based design studio); presenting a narrative on revival of Kothi making and rituals around philosophies of Bhumi (Earth) Paired with a terracotta Khadi Lehenga by Abu Jani Khosla we celebrate our inner Devs, and Devis this Diwali. ”

The body ornament is made of  Karnataka red soil, multani clay, paper mache and is styled with simple orange khadi lehenga skirt.

Sonam Kapoor looks wrapped in tradition and heritage like a queen. The orange and bronze palette accentuates her entire outfit for the festive season. The simply weaved lehenga with golden gota border was elevated as she paired it was her mother Sunita Kapoor’s choker . The magnificent layered emerald necklace brings out a stark contrast of colours enhancing look. For glam picks, Sonam opted for loose wavy open hair, matching ear studs and bronze  glittery eye shadow.
