Terrorist attack on Iran near the border with Pakistan, 10 security forces killed

Tehran: After the Israeli attack, Iran faced another attack. In this, 10 Iranian security personnel were killed in an attack by extremist group Jaish-al-Adl in Taftan, Iran. Taftan area is adjacent to the border with Pakistan.

Iran's Interior Ministry says armed attackers attacked a police patrol unit in the Goharkoh area of ​​Taftan, a city located on the Iranian border of Sistan and Baluchistan.

Iran's Interior Minister Iskander Momani described the incident as a terrorist attack and ordered an immediate investigation. The Police Information Center of Sistan and Baluchistan also issued a statement on Saturday. Confirming this, it said that 10 police personnel of two patrolling units of Gohar Koh police station in Taftan city have been killed.

Jaish-al-Adl took responsibility for the attack

At the time when this attack took place, the police personnel were returning to their residence after finishing their duty. However, Jaish-al-Adl has claimed responsibility for this attack on its Telegram channel.

Jaish-al-Adl said a patrol unit of Farja Jaber forces was targeted in Goharkoh in Taftan city. Jaish-al-Adl is an armed extremist organization. This organization opposes the Iranian government. This organization also calls itself the Army of Justice and Equality.
