Digital Condom app launched, a company brought with a special purpose, know how to use it?

New Delhi. Germany's sexual health brand Billy Boy has launched a unique app. Its name is 'Digital Condom'. It is also known as Camdom. The company has brought it with the aim of stopping video-audio recording during intimate moments without permission. This innovative app turns off the phone's camera and microphone by using Bluetooth Technology.

Due to which your private moments remain more safe. There is a lot of discussion about this app on the internet. Some people found this innovation correct while others called it nonsense.

very easy to use

The Camdom app is also easy to use to ensure privacy and security. For this you just have to open the app in the phone and swipe the virtual button. Due to this the microphone and camera of the phone gets blocked. You can do the same thing on the other person's phone also.

Once the virtual button is swiped, if one of the participants turns on the camera or microphone, an alert is received through an alarm. Through this app, camera and microphone can be blocked in multiple devices simultaneously.

private moments will be secure

The company says that protecting private moments from audio-video recording is a big challenge. In this situation, this app comes in handy and it provides safety to a great extent. Camdom app also gives alerts if some wrong activity happens. In this the alarm starts ringing immediately.

It is available for Android smartphone users in more than 30 countries.

The company is going to bring it for iOS users also in the coming days.

Felipe Almeida, the developer who created the app, says that nowadays it has become an important part of our lives. Most of our private data is stored in the phone itself. Therefore, to protect you from recording private moments without permission, we have created the first app that can block the phone's camera and mic using Bluetooth.

How is 'Digital Condom' different?

The app has been developed in partnership with Innocion Berlin. Gabriel, CCO of Innocean Berlin said that at Innocean Berlin we think about solving problems not only for our customers but for the society at large. Therefore, it was important for us to develop this app in collaboration with Billy Boy to protect users from non-consensual content leakage. It is made in a different way, which has never been done before.
