Meet woman, started as YouTuber, now one of youngest CEOs in India, her business is…

After initial failure, initial failure, Divya Tandon started another YouTube channel named ‘Tech Divya’, where she reviewed gadgets, did unboxings, and made videos on other technology-related stuff.

Divya Tandon started out as a YouTuber.

There are hundreds, probably thousands of successful independent YouTubers in India, boasting thousands, even lakhs of subscribers on their YouTube channels. However, rarely any of them is able to make a successful transition from YouTube to other ventures, especially building a thriving business.

One such rare example is Divya Gandotra Tandon, who apart from running ‘Tech Divya’, a successful YouTube channel with over 34,000 subscribers, now owns a business which is currently valued at over Rs 1.10 crore.

Who is Divya Gandotra Tandon?

Born in Jammu city in Jammu and Kashmir on June 5, 2002, to Sachin Tandon and Namrata Gandotra, Divya Tandon completed her primary education at a local school and her secondary education from the Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, before moving to Greater Noida in Delhi-NCR for higher studies at the Prince Institute of Innovative Technology.

Since her formative, Divya always had a passion for technology and gadgets, and ultimately launched her own tech-focused YouTube channel ‘Technical Divya’, but the channel did not take off and failed to gain any significant reach.

However, unperturbed by her initial failure, Divya Tandon started another YouTube channel named ‘Tech Divya’, where she reviewed gadgets, did unboxings, and made videos on other technology-related stuff.

‘Tech Divya’ gained good traction and soon garnered over 34,000 subscribers, boosting Divya’s confidence and inspiring her to launch a bigger venture which would change her life.

From YouTuber to entrepreneur

Bolstered by the massive positive response she received on her YouTube channel, Divya Tandon plunged into the world of entrepreneurship and started ‘The Scoop Beats’, which started as a Facebook page and then a website, where she would post memes, videos, and the occasional news.

Soon, Scoop Beats grew into a large infotainment website which now has news and updates from various genres from current events to entertainment and offbeat stories. As per reports, Scoop Beats is currently worth over Rs 1.10 crores.
