After the videos went viral, prominent cleric Mufti Abdul Qavi also offered his thoughts. Speaking up, Mufti Qavi revealed that he knows Minahil and the man in the videos personally since she frequently asks him for advice on a variety of topics.
Mufti Qavi went on to declare the videos authentic, stating, “It doesn’t look like they are morphed or edited; edited videos are easily recognizable.” He advised Minahil to confront the situation directly rather than making excuses and to acknowledge her mistakes to help bring the perpetrators to justice.
