Kadhai Cabbage Recipe

6 tbsp refined oil

1 medium sized tomato

1 teaspoon garam masala powder

1 tbsp coriander powder

1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli

1/2 tbsp garlic paste

salt as required

1 large potato

1 medium sized capsicum (green chilli)

2 tbsp coriander leaves

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp turmeric

1/2 tbsp ginger paste

1/4 tsp asafoetida

Step 1 Roast Cauliflower and Capsicum

Heat oil in pan. Add asafoetida, turmeric and potatoes in it. Stir them well and cook covered for 5-10 minutes. Then, add cauliflower florets. Mix well and cook covered for 10 minutes until they become soft. Sprinkle some salt in it. Add the capsicum, cover and cook for five minutes until they soften, but do not overcook; Leave them crisp.

Step 2 Add spices and cook well

Add red chili powder, coriander-cumin powder, garam masala and ginger-garlic paste to it. Mix them well and cook for two minutes while stirring occasionally. Now, add chopped tomatoes, mix well and cook until tomatoes become soft. When the oil separates, add some chopped coriander to garnish and serve with hot roti or naan.
