Patna Patna. Cricketer Ishan Kishan's father Pranav Kumar Pandey on Sunday joined Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's party JDU. At a function here, Pandey was inducted into the party in the presence of several top leaders including JDU national working president Sanjay Kumar Jha and party state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha. Immediately after joining the party, Pandey said, 'I am happy to join the party once again.
Our leader Nitish Kumar has always been a source of inspiration for me. Now I will work hard under the direction of my seniors and strengthen the party. Speaking on the occasion, Jha said, 'Pandey never left the party. He took a break only to make his son an international cricketer. Now that Ishan is playing for the country and performing well in international cricket matches, Pandey has now decided to actively work for the party. His joining the party will definitely strengthen the party.
