For those who don’t know there was a time when Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan’s on-screen pairing was very popular, they even fell in love in real life. She fell in love with Salman during the making of the 1999 romantic drama We have lost our hearts, Sanam. However, their relationship ended on a very bad note and the couple split in 2002, and Aishwarya later began dating Vivek Oberoi while filming the 2004 movie Kyun! Ho Gaya Na.

Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya Rai dated for a couple of months and their relationship grabbed a lot of attention. When Vivek was invited as a guest at the Koffee with Karan show, host KJo had asked him whether Aishwarya looked better in Bollywood or Hollywood. Vivek gave an interesting reply, saying, “She looks good in my arms.”

However, not many people know that Aishwarya remained in touch with Salman Khan even while she was with Vivek. These hints were dropped by Sohail Khan. In an old interview, Sohail said, “Now she weeps in public. When she was going around with him, visiting our home so often like part of the family, did she ever acknowledge the relationship? She never did. That made Salman feel insecure. He wanted to know how much she wanted him, but she would never let him be sure of that.”

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been married for 17 years and share a daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. Rumours of a divorce surfaced earlier this year after she made an entry with only Aaradhya at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding.
