Stocks in news today: Macrotech Developers, ICICI Bank, REC and more

Mumbai: The share price of Macrotech Developers, IDFC First Bank, ICICI Bank, Jaiprakash Power Ventures, REC on October 28, 2024 (Monday) and other companies will be in focus due to news developments and the Q@ Results of 2024-25.

Macrotech Developers share price

Macrotech Developers Ltd announced plans to launch nearly 8 million square feet of residential space in the second half of 2024-25 with an estimated sales value of Rs 10,000 crore. The Mumbai-based realty firm sells properties under the Lodha brand. The real estate sector major informed the exchanges that launched a 3.6 million square feet area during the April-September period of the current financial year.

IDFC First Bank share price

In its Q2 Results of 2024-25, IDFC First Bank declared a 73 per cent decline in its standalone profit to Rs 11,746 crore as against a net profit of Rs 751 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. Announcing the second quarter results of quarter ending in September 2024, the lender stated that its total income to Rs 10,684 crore. In its regulatory filing, the bank declared interest income of Rs 8,957 crore during the second quarter.

ICICI Bank share price

ICICI Bank on October 26, 2024 declared its second quarter results of 2024-25. In its financials, the private lender reported an 18.8 per cent jump in its consolidated profit after tax. The bank’s net profit increased by 14.5 per cent to Rs 11,746 crore in the July-September period this year. The total standalone income rose to Rs 47,714 crore during the quarter, while the net interest income grew 9.5 per cent to Rs 20,048 crore.

Jaiprakash Power Ventures share price

Jaiprakash Power Ventures declared its Q2 Results of 2024-25 and reported a three-fold rise in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 182.66 crore. The company had recorded a PAT of Rs 68.66 crore in the same quarter in 2023-24. In an exchange filing, the company’s total income lowered to Rs 1,305.19 crore as against Rs 1,359.23 crore in the same quarter of July-September period. JP Power reported a decrease in its expenses to Rs 1,070.76 crore from Rs 1,172.02 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

REC share price

In the September 2024 quarter, state-owned REC Ltd recorded around 7 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 4,037.72 crore as compared to Rs 3,789.90 crore. A BSE filing, the total income surged to Rs 13,706.31 crore in the quarter as against Rs 11,684.89 crore a year ago. The board gave the green signal to the second interim dividend of Rs 4 per equity share of Rs 10 each for 2024-25.
