Fresh firing at two different places in Manipur – LIVE HINDI KHABAR

Latest News :- Bomb blasts and firing incidents took place at two places in Manipur yesterday, officials said. The incidents took place at Kotruk in Imphal West and Tronglavobi in Bishnupur district. West Imphal district police suspect that Kuki militants armed with sophisticated guns and explosives attacked Kodruk Singh Likai village under Lamshang police station area at around 7 pm last night. When the police stationed there retaliated, firing started. The firing continued for four hours.

Meanwhile, 6 km near Moirang Police Station in Bishnupur district. Bishnupur district police said Kuki militants attacked from remote Tronglavobi village. At around 9.15 pm, Kuki militants attacked from Keljung and Molshang areas. Police said state forces and rural volunteer forces retaliated and firing broke out.

Earlier on September 6, Kuki terrorists had carried out a drone attack on Tronglaobi village. There were no casualties. Two PLA men arrested: Meanwhile, police on Sunday said two men of the banned People's Liberation Army were arrested in Tengnavupal village. Assam Rifles arrested him on Saturday near border post number 87. It is reported that he was later handed over to the police.
