Only 1 day left for nomination, Ajit Pawar released the list of 49 candidates.

Maharashtra Elections: Voting for assembly elections is going to be held in Maharashtra on 20th November. There has been a political uproar in the state regarding this. Only 30 hours are left for nomination for the assembly elections. A tough contest is being expected between Mahavikas Aghadi and Mahayuti alliance. Candidates are yet to be announced for 29 seats in MVA and 53 seats in Mahayuti. Only one day is left for nominations and it is expected that today both the alliances will release the list of their candidates.

Ajit Pawar released the list of 49 candidates

Talking about Mahayuti, BJP has released two lists of candidates, in the first list the names of 99 candidates were released and in the second list 22 candidates were announced. Whereas in Shiv Sena (Shinde), names of 45 candidates were announced in the first list and 20 candidates in the second list.

Only 1 day left for nomination

Apart from these, Ajit Pawar's party has released three lists. Pawar's party released the first list of 37 candidates, the second list of 7 and the third list of 4 candidates. In this way, till now BJP has released the list of 121 candidates, Shiv Sena (Shinde) 65 and NCP 49 candidates. Now the list of candidates for 53 seats is left to be released in Mahayuti.

Ajit Pawar's NCP has given ticket to Nawab Malik's daughter Sana Malik from Anushakti Nagar constituency and to Zeeshan Siddiqui, son of late leader Baba Siddiqui, from Bandra East. The names of both of them were not included in the first list. Various kinds of speculations were being made regarding this.

Problem stuck on 29 seats in MVA

However, from where NCP has given tickets to Sana Malik and Zeeshan Siddiqui, their position is quite strong on these seats. On the other hand, Congress has so far released four lists of 101 candidates in MVA. At the same time, Shiv Sena (UBT) has released three lists of 84 candidates and NCP (Sharad Pawar) has announced the names of 76 candidates. Mahavikas Aghadi has so far announced candidates for 261 seats. There are a total of 288 assembly seats in the state. The results of assembly elections in Maharashtra will be announced on 23 November.
