India Census 2025: Census will start in the country next year; People will also be asked questions regarding sect!

India Census 2025: Due to the Corona epidemic, the census to be conducted in the year 2021 could not be conducted. For some time now, the opposition has been demanding caste census. Meanwhile, the central government is preparing to start the census next year i.e. in 2025. According to sources, the census in the country will start from next year 2025 and will continue till 2026. Along with this, the census cycle will also change.

In fact, till now the census in the country has been conducted at the beginning of the decade (1991, 2001, 2011). But, after the postponement of the census due to Corona, its cycle will also change. According to sources, now after 2025, the next census will be held in 2035, 2045, 2055. Delimitation of Lok Sabha seats is likely to begin after the census is completed. The delimitation process may be completed by 2028.

Questions will also be asked regarding sect

Till now religion and class have been asked in the census. During this, counting of people belonging to general, scheduled caste and tribe is done. If sources are to be believed, in the census starting next year, people may also be asked which sect they are followers of. In fact, Lingayats, who fall in the general category in Karnataka, consider themselves a separate sect.
