Honda's powerful motorcycle has been updated

Business Business: Honda's CMX family, known as the Rebel series, has been updated for 2025 with new features, updated ergonomics and more color options. Updates to the CMX500 include appearance, features and comfort. Performance changes have been made to the CMX1100 to increase low and mid-range power. Along with these updates, the Japanese manufacturer has launched a new special edition CMX1100SE Rebel which will be available in two color options. Tell us in detail.

The Honda CMX500 or Rebel 500 has been updated for greater driver comfort. It features a new rear bump stop design which is said to improve ride quality. The seat has been redesigned using new urethane foam for added comfort. The shape of the steering wheel has been changed to achieve better ergonomics.

A new matte dark gray metallic finish has been added to the standard Cruiser and 'S' variants. The 'S' variant is also available in Candy Energy Orange. This option has a factory headlight cover. It also has retro style front fork cover, bronze alloy and diamond stitched seat.

The Rebel 500 is powered by a 471cc inline-twin engine capable of producing 45.5 hp. at 8500 rpm and torque of 43.3 Nm at 6000 rpm. This unit is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The cruiser bike is built on a tubular steel frame. It has 41mm telescopic forks at the front and Showa gas suspension with dual shock absorbers at the rear. It comes with 16 inch aluminum alloy wheels. The braking function is performed by a 296 mm diameter disc at the front and a 240 mm diameter disc at the rear, equipped with dual-channel ABS.

The Rebel 1100 series receives similar updates as well as performance improvements. The seating position has become more comfortable as the steering wheel has been moved closer and higher. The footpegs are set slightly forward. The seat was made 10 mm thick. Next, Honda gets a new 5-inch TFT screen with RoadSync smartphone connectivity and a USB-C charging port.

The throttle controls and various riding modes are retained in the Rebel 1100. It has three standard drive modes and two custom modes that allow you to control parameters such as torque management and shift schedules, selectable for models equipped with dual-clutch transmission.
