World record for the 7th year by lighting 35 lakh earthen lamps in Ayodhya on Diwali

Latest News :- Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh will be illuminated with 35 lakh lamps on Diwali. With this, a world record is going to be made for the 7th consecutive year. In the northern states, Diwali is celebrated on the day of Lord Rama's return from the forest. Thus, grand celebrations are organized every Diwali in Ayodhya, where the Ram temple is located. Diwali celebrations in Ayodhya have received special attention, especially since Yogi Adityanath took charge as the BJP's chief minister in UP in 2017.

According to this, Ayodhya will be illuminated with 35 lakh Kakal lamps on the coming Diwali. Of these, 25 lakh lamps are being lit on the banks of Saryu river and the rest in other parts of Ayodhya. Such numbers of lights were not lit anywhere else in the world. Therefore this event is going to become a Guinness World Record. Annual increase: This is not the first time that Ayodhya has made such a world record. Earlier in 2018, a world record was made by lighting 3.01 lakh lights. Since then this number has been increasing every year.

4.04 lakh were illuminated in 2019, 6.06 lakh in 2020, 9.41 lakh in 2021, 15.76 lakh in 2022 and 22.23 lakh in 2023. This is the 7th time that a world record is being created on Diwali. In this regard, the newspaper 'Hindu Tamil Vectic' contacted U.P. Tourism Department official Rajendra Prasad says, “For the first time, 1100 people are performing Maha Aarti on the banks of Saryu River. For this, people are selected in consultation with prominent yogis and abbots.

All these events took place in UP. It will be held in the presence of Governor Ananti Ben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi and his ministers. Art programs related to Ramayana are also being organized in 30 major areas of Ayodhya from 28 to 30 October. It will include around 250 artists from the local region as well as countries like Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and Nepal. Along with this, dance programs of various tribes of India are also organized.
